Curlew Beach is a sheltered, boat-access camping area at Macona Inlet on Hook Island, set behind a sandy beach and tropical rainforest.

Bring snorkelling gear to explore the reef wall at low tide, or enjoy the beach by canoe, kayak or boat. The nearby cultural site provides another reason to slow down and explore the inlet.

Check the Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service camping information (opens in a new tab) for current access and camping details.
